Creating Joy by Improving Smiles
I feel so blessed to come to our office every day. I have made so many close friends by working and living in our community. I know our doctors and team members make a wonderfully positive difference in people’s lives, because so many have told me so.
As an orthodontist, the greatest fulfillment is the joy I share with each patient when treatment is completed. They’re amazed by their new smile and I’m happy for them. Having a healthy, confident, and beautiful smile changes a person’s life, for the rest of their life.
I’ve been practicing orthodontics for more than 25 years and still find each day filled with challenges, friendships, and successes. I cannot imagine a more rewarding career. Dr. Jeffrey C. Kemp
Education and Continuing Education
Dr. Jeffrey Kemp received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He then attended the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Dentistry, where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and received his orthodontic training.
Each year Dr. Kemp completes many hours of continuing orthodontic education. By staying current on advances in technological and treatment, he ensures his patients receive the best care and most incredible smile results.
Dr. Kemp grew up in Washington, IL, a community that instilled small town values of supporting one’s neighbors and helping each other. He now lives in Arlington Heights, about a mile and a half from the office.
Dr. Kemp and his lovely wife, Carolyn, met in dental school. She has her own private practice. The couple has two children. Catherine, their wonderful daughter, serves underprivileged people and recently rode her bike across the United States to raise money for cancer research. The couple’s talented son, Reed, is currently in school and considering becoming an architect.
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Kemp is constantly finding ways to challenge his brain and stay fit. In addition to being an avid golfer, the doctor completed an Ironman Triathlon in 2015. When his children were in school, Dr. Kemp coached their soccer, baseball, and basketball teams.
One more remarkable thing about Dr. Kemp: in 2006 he donated one of his kidneys to an uncle who is still maintaining his newfound good health, while enjoying watching his grandchildren grow up.
